About The Position

The Clinical Research Associate-Imaging position at the Cardiovascular Research Foundation involves working under general supervision within the framework of Phase I-IV clinical trials. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform qualitative and quantitative analyses of patient angiographic films. This includes checking materials sent to the Core Lab for completion, ensuring patient identification codes and clinical site identification numbers are accurate, and assessing the consistency between the film and the Technician's Worksheet. The role requires selecting the most suitable film frames for analysis and recording them on the Case Report Form, as well as documenting any deficiencies in angiographic acquisition. In addition to these tasks, the Clinical Research Associate will trace and draw pre-interventional arterial segments on the Case Report Form, recording the corresponding frame number and projection details. The position also involves recording measurements and locations of catheters, as well as baseline and final morphology on the Case Report Form. After completing a training period of approximately three months, the associate will proceed with the quantitative coronary analysis (QCA) process using the Coronary Measurement System (CMS), which includes image acquisition, calibration, and segment selection. There may also be opportunities to conduct peripheral analyses and quality assurance steps as needed. This role is subject to a flexible hybrid work arrangement, requiring a minimum of 1-2 predetermined days per week in the mid-town office. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including staff, physicians, and trial sponsors.
