About the position

ATC Healthcare Services is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Associate for a temporary to permanent position in Philadelphia, PA. The role involves managing day-to-day research activities, ensuring compliance with study protocols, and maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. The Clinical Research Associate will be responsible for conducting subject visits, data collection, and analysis, while adhering to professional standards and project timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Managing assigned day-to-day research activities.
  • Conducting study specific subject visits including consenting, data collection, data entry, and query resolution.
  • Performing study procedures as delegated including performing EKG's, collection and processing of specimens, and shipping of equipment.
  • Ensuring all projects are completed in a timely fashion.
  • Analyzing data, setting research standards, and coordinating project requirements.
  • Adhering to all policies, procedures, and professional standards within the division/sub-unit.
  • Establishing strategic objectives for completing the project and providing input into divisional strategies based on functional expertise.
  • Selecting an appropriate course of action that requires independent judgment and typically involves change or innovation in existing procedures or techniques.
  • Making complex decisions within broad guidelines.
  • Establishing solid relationships with internal and external contacts to assess customers' longer-term needs.
  • Acting as a communication conduit on matters of operational and strategic importance.
  • Establishing priorities, providing feedback, and ensuring all projects are completed in a timely fashion.
  • Handling planning, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in life science or health professions field.
  • At least three years of experience working with human subjects.
  • Demonstrated computer skills, and proficiency with MS Office Suite software programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with a diverse constituent population.
  • Demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills, along with the ability to work in a dynamic environment and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze complex problems requiring in-depth technical knowledge.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to travel to off-site locations that may not be accessible via public transportation.
  • Ability to work evenings/weekends as needed.
