About the position

The Clinical Research Associate position at Intermountain Healthcare is designed to support clinical research and research studies. Responsibilities

• Assist in laboratory testing and reagent preparation.
• Participate in training and mentoring new staff.
• Engage in special projects as assigned.
• Operate multiple computer and test ordering systems.
• Safely operate laboratory equipment and comply with regulations.
• Assist in screening participants for research protocols.
• Perform sterile specimen preparation techniques.
• Conduct data entry, expense tracking, and patient chart reviews as needed.

Requirements

• One year of clinical research experience working with human subjects.
• Experience using basic computer programs including word processing, database, and spreadsheet applications.
• Familiarity with laboratory protocols, systems, and documentation techniques.

Nice-to-haves

• Associate's degree or higher.
• Prior experience in healthcare.
