About the position

The Clinical Research Coordinator A/B position at the University of Pennsylvania involves managing day-to-day operations of a significant study focused on the health impacts of a housing intervention for individuals with HIV. This role requires collaboration with the principal investigator and project manager, as well as supervision of a Clinical Research Assistant. The position is contingent upon grant funding and offers a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day study operations for a large-scale housing intervention study.
  • Survey and interview participants for data collection.
  • Ensure compliance with IRB and human subjects policies and regulations.
  • Manage participant compensation and study-related documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with study participants and stakeholders.
  • Supervise a full-time Clinical Research Assistant assigned to the study.
  • Develop and update study materials and documentation.
  • Present data and reports to the research team.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in a public health-related field for Clinical Research Coordinator A with 1-2 years of experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • BA/BS in a public health-related field for Clinical Research Coordinator B with 2-4 years of experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in health policy or public health research.
  • Experience with data entry and reporting in REDCap.
  • Spanish language skills preferred.
  • Master of Public Health (MPH) preferred.
