The coordinator will manage study coordination, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and engage with community organizations to promote research initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Independent study coordination including screening of potential patients for protocol eligibility.
• Presenting non-medical trial concepts and details to patients and participating in the informed consent process.
• Scheduling patients for research visits and procedures.
• Documenting changes in patient condition, adverse events, and protocol compliance on Case Report Forms (CRFs).
• Maintaining accurate source documents related to all research procedures.
• Responsible for accurate and timely data collection, documentation, entry, and reporting.
• Compiling and reporting on each study including protocol activity, accrual data, and workload.
• Presenting study information at regular research staff meetings.
• Notifying direct supervisor about concerns regarding data quality and study conduct.
• Working closely with a regulatory coordinator or IRB to submit necessary reports and documents.
• Ensuring compliance with federal and local agencies including the FDA and IRB.
• Maintaining research practices using Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
• Participating in required training and education programs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical research-related experience.
• Proven experience in community outreach, particularly with the Filipino community.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
