About the position

The Clinical Research Coordinator I at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is responsible for managing and coordinating the care of patients participating in clinical research studies. This role involves educating patients, families, and staff about study compliance, collecting accurate study data, and facilitating patient accrual to clinical trials. The position requires in-person attendance in Buffalo, NY, with flexible working hours after an initial training period, including limited weekend hours.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate patient care for clinical research studies.
  • Educate patients, families, and staff regarding study compliance.
  • Collect complete and accurate study data sets.
  • Facilitate accrual to clinical research studies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and one year of full-time acute care or clinical research experience, or an Associate's degree and two years of full-time acute care or clinical research experience.
  • Certification through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) or the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) within three years of appointment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous Clinical Research Experience at an Academic Medical Center
  • Previous Oncology Clinical Experience
  • Certification by either ACRP or SOCRA
  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical or Life Sciences
  • Experience with FDA regulations and CGP/ICH guidance
  • CITI-course training
  • Previous experience with Serious Adverse Event & UP Reporting
