About the position

The Clinical Research Coordinator II at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) plays a vital role in coordinating clinical studies within the OB/GYN - Maternal & Fetal Medicine department. This position involves supporting the research team in various aspects of the study life cycle, ensuring compliance with protocols and regulations, and facilitating participant engagement throughout the research process.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as coordinator for studies and provide support to team members within the protocol confines.
  • Support screening and participant eligibility determination, ensuring compliance with protocols.
  • Conduct activities in accordance with the protocol, regulations, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
  • Assist with the study life cycle from start-up to closure, including data collection, participant recruitment, and follow-up.
  • Schedule visits and assist in coordinating lab and fieldwork.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Three (3) years of related experience, with work experience potentially substituting for education.
