About the position
The Clinical Research Specialist will support the Principal Investigator (PI) in coordinating and planning research studies, focusing on data handling, statistical analysis, and scientific presentation. This role involves collaboration on protocol drafting, grant proposal assistance, and overseeing daily research operations, while also analyzing data and disseminating findings through various formats.
Responsibilities
- Assist, coordinate, and plan research studies in support of the Principal Investigator (PI).
- Initiate and collaborate on protocol drafting, preparing IRB materials, and recruitment materials.
- Research and outreach to disease-specific organizations for recruitment collaboration.
- Assist in drafting grant proposals and provision of grant milestone reports.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the research study through the collection of research data with study participants.
- Participate in internal meetings with study team members and external meetings with study sponsors and stakeholders.
- Analyze both qualitative and quantitative research data proficiently.
- Share, present, and disseminate research findings through drafting manuscripts, research abstracts, and presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Proficient in scientific writing
- Proficient in basic statistical analysis
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with research abstracts, research posters, and manuscript preparation
- Experience in poster design
