About the position

The Clinical Research Coordinator at East Carolina University plays a vital role in the Department of Surgery's Division of Surgical Research. This full-time position is responsible for planning and coordinating research studies, developing proposals and budgets, and managing regulatory and IRB documentation. The coordinator will ensure successful project implementation and compliance during site visits and audits, contributing significantly to the research team's objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate observational and clinical research studies.
  • Develop research proposals and project budgets.
  • Manage regulatory and IRB documentation for proposed and ongoing studies.
  • Ensure successful implementation of research projects.
  • Conduct research data collection and analysis.
  • Provide clinical support and patient care as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the field assigned.
  • One year of related training or experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
