About the position
The Clinical Research Coordinator position at Actalent involves working closely with leading oncology physicians on the lymphoma research team. The role requires collaboration with various teams, including clinical research study teams and the oncology clinic team. Initially, the coordinator will focus on both data and clinical coordinating before transitioning to full clinical coordinating, directly interacting with patients in both the clinic and research office.
Responsibilities
- Screen and enroll patients into research studies.
- Read and understand study protocols.
- Report significant adverse events (SAEs).
- Check lab values and assess drug dosages and modifications.
- Ship samples to labs and prepare laboratory kits.
- Find and enter data into the research system.
- Assist with both existing and new trials.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and clinical research fast track certification are beneficial.
- Experience in related fields such as medical assisting, respiratory therapy, or athletic training is considered.
- Go-getter attitude and high organizational skills.
- Ability to handle high-stress and fast-paced workloads.
- Positive personality and team player.
- Flexibility to shift priorities quickly and ask for help when needed.
