About the position
The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) at Novant Health plays a vital role in facilitating and coordinating daily clinical trial activities under the guidance of Novant Health leaders and study investigators. This position is dedicated to excellence in clinical research, emphasizing ethics, safety, quality, and compliance. CRCs work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate and coordinate daily clinical trial activities.
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards and safety protocols.
- Interact with patients and team members to provide support and information.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines.
- Utilize information systems and database management functions effectively.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of clinical research experience required.
- Certification in Clinical Research is required for higher levels of experience.
- Current or compact RN licensure in North Carolina is required for nursing levels.
- Demonstrated knowledge of complex clinical research concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification.
- Human Subjects Training certification.
- International Air Transportation Association (IATA) certification for shipping hazardous and biological substances.
