About the position
The Clinical Research Manager for the Thoracic Oncology and Sarcoma Program at the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center will lead and develop clinical research teams across multiple therapeutic areas. This role involves overseeing a team of clinical research staff, ensuring operational leadership, strategic planning, and meeting program goals while maintaining high-quality service and performance management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee supervisors, senior clinical research coordinators, protocol project managers, and clinical research coordinators.
- Provide operational leadership to a group of Clinical Research Staff, including direct reports.
- Monitor workload and productivity of the clinical research team.
- Ensure all reporting and study milestones are met, including recruitment targets and data entry timelines.
- Collaborate with Principal Investigators and scientific oversight committees.
- Identify areas in need of training and development for staff.
- Report and interpret performance and metric data in collaboration with the Associate Director.
