About the position

The Clinical Research Program Coordinator at Nationwide Children's Hospital is responsible for supporting clinical studies in Primary Care Pediatrics, focusing on participant recruitment, data collection, and project management. This role involves collaboration with various research staff and maintaining compliance with grant budgets and IRB protocols, contributing to projects aimed at preventing non-communicable diseases in children, particularly in low-income families.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in administrative tasks including data entry, research calendar management, and coordinating team meetings.
  • Manage grants and IRB (regulatory) processes.
  • Conduct quality assurance to maintain accurate databases and perform literature reviews for grants and manuscripts.
  • Collaborate with investigators in developing IRB protocols, grant submissions, and scientific publications.
  • Track projects and initiatives to ensure they progress according to timelines and budgets, reporting to the Principal Investigator when necessary.
  • Act as a liaison between Nationwide Children's Hospital and other departments involved in research protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in clinical research.
  • Experience in project management and participant recruitment for clinical studies.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
