About the position

The Clinical Research Project Coordinator at Berkshire Medical Center plays a crucial role in supporting the clinical research department by coordinating data management activities. Under the general direction of department management, this position is responsible for maintaining databases using Excel for various Quality Improvement (QI) projects and other departmental initiatives. The coordinator will ensure that all data is accurately recorded and managed, facilitating the smooth operation of research activities within the department. In addition to data management, the Clinical Research Project Coordinator will assist with all Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accreditation requirements. This includes managing visiting residents and interns, as well as overseeing the core curriculum to ensure compliance with educational standards. The role requires a high level of organization and attention to detail, as the coordinator will be involved in multiple projects simultaneously, often requiring flexibility in hours to accommodate events and meetings. The position is part-time, with a typical schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, although hours may vary based on departmental needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative support, data management, and project coordination, contributing to the overall success of the clinical research initiatives at Berkshire Medical Center.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of related administrative experience required.
