About the position

San Jose Clinical Trials is looking for a reliable and dedicated Site Manager to oversee the clinical and business operations of various clinical research studies. The role involves managing multiple Phase II through Phase IV clinical trials, focusing on site selection, start-up, monitoring, patient recruitment, and study close-out, while providing customer-focused leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical and business operations of clinical research studies.
• Manage multiple Phase II through Phase IV clinical trials.
• Conduct site assessments and pre-trial assessments.
• Initiate sites and recruit subjects for studies.
• Monitor patient enrollment and retention to meet study goals.
• Communicate effectively with monitors during scheduled visits.
• Manage budgeting, contracting, and account receivables for clinical trial services.
• Work closely with staff on recruitment and scheduling of research subjects.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) required.
• 3+ years of medical or clinical research experience preferred.
• Management experience of at least 1 year preferred.
• Medical office experience of at least 3 years preferred.
• Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certificate is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• MA or CPT certificate is a plus.
