About the position

The Movement Disorders Center is seeking a dedicated individual to collect and process behavioral evaluations, standardized videos, and motor exams during clinical appointments. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of clinical research by ensuring that all data collected is accurate and compliant with established protocols. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating site demographics in the computer database, logging forms received, and filing them appropriately. Additionally, the role involves preparing reports from the database, including weekly reports and other reports as requested by the study team. In this position, you will receive and disseminate study-related regulatory documents and correspondence, assisting in screening documents for completeness and compliance with protocol and appropriate regulations. You will also be tasked with investigating any incomplete, inaccurate, or missing documents to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data. Effective communication and coordination with other study personnel are essential, as you will be involved in data entry, randomization of personnel, and liaising with pharmacy, laboratories, study sponsors, and others as needed for study implementation and routine problem resolution. The role requires attendance at routine meetings and other meetings related to clinical research, where you will stay abreast of information and any changes to study protocols. You will also prepare and perform standardized neuropsychological testing, as well as standardized video and photography protocols, ensuring that videos are ready for review during the Journal Club each Thursday. Maintaining the entire clinic video catalog and preparing them for physicians as needed is also a key responsibility of this position.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent high school certification plus 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a medical environment; some college may substitute for experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
