About the position

The Clinical Research Systems Lead is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of the Clinical Research Management System (CRMS) at Temple Health. This role involves supervising System Coordinators, providing support for day-to-day issues, and ensuring the accuracy of protocol metadata. The Lead will also facilitate regulatory reviews, assist in training users, and provide metric reporting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and supervise the System Coordinators in the overall operations of the Clinical Research Management System.
  • Act as a resource for day-to-day issues and provide support to staff.
  • Support management and leadership on projects and initiatives.
  • Provide oversight and guidance on team-member workloads and assignments.
  • Facilitate the regulatory review process by providing customer support.
  • Assist in training of Clinical Research Systems users.
  • Perform Quality Control and Quality Assurance activities to maintain accurate protocol metadata.
  • Provide metric reporting and study tracking as required by Senior Leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Required).
  • 5 years of experience working with Clinical Research Software (Required).
  • General experience and knowledge of database applications and theory, clinical research software systems, medical research methods, and operations (Preferred).
  • 5 years of experience working in Clinical Research Operations and Coordination (Preferred).
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Science related field (Preferred).
  • License/Certifications: CRM - Clinical Research Management (Preferred).
