About the position

The Clinical Resource Director at HCA Healthcare is responsible for leading the supply expense agenda for the clinical resource management program within a hospital. This role focuses on driving positive change through program definition, optimizing purchasing contracts, and executing product standardization initiatives. The director will collaborate with hospital leadership, physicians, and supply chain teams to effectively manage clinical supply expenses and improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce supply expense per adjusted admission.
  • Identify and implement margin improvement initiatives focusing on high-cost departments such as surgical services and Cath lab.
  • Analyze supply expense variances and create action plans to mitigate increases.
  • Facilitate value analysis meetings to review products and technology for clinical evidence and financial considerations.
  • Build relationships with hospital leadership and clinical staff to enhance customer satisfaction and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with facility leadership and staff to implement continuous quality improvement and cost containment processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Administration, Nursing, Pharmacy, or other Allied Health Profession.
  • Experience in healthcare value analysis, clinical supply chain, or acute care hospital performance.
  • Three to five years of value analysis/clinical/hospital leadership experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • LPN/RN certification or similar credentials such as CMRP or CVAHP.
