About the position

The Clinical Revenue Application & Support Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting and maintaining applications that meet business needs within the Lehigh Valley Health Network. This position involves participating in the full development lifecycle of applications and projects, solving technical and organizational problems, and ensuring effective integration with other systems. The analyst will work closely with the business to determine optimal technical solutions and will be responsible for analyzing work processes, testing system upgrades, and troubleshooting operational issues.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain applications to serve business needs.
  • Participate in the full development lifecycle for team applications and projects.
  • Assist the business in determining the best technical solutions for issues and processes.
  • Develop detailed business work plans for analysis, testing system upgrades, modifications, and enhancements.
  • Assist with the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of technical requirements for development, staging, and production environments.
  • Analyze work processes and feasibility of project requests, troubleshooting operational problems.
  • Create specifications and related documentation as required.
  • Evaluate, plan, and execute thorough test scenarios and plans.
  • Assist in developing technology standards.
  • Estimate resources required for task completion and document variances.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Sciences and Technology or related fields (preferred work experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
  • 2 years of direct build experience on current EHR system version.
  • 1 year of general application build, implementation, and support experience.
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze and solve problems and interpret data.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and be self-motivated and self-disciplined.
  • Knowledge of processes of assigned areas and applications.
  • Ability to effectively deal with multiple and changing priorities.
  • Must be able to visit multiple business and education locations.
