About the position
The Clinical RN Manager at Affirmed Home Care is a leadership role focused on overseeing the training and education of RN Care Managers, ensuring they possess advanced clinical skills necessary for high-acuity client care. This position involves conducting assessments, developing individualized care plans, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, all while promoting professional development within the nursing team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the training and education of RN Care Managers in advanced clinical skills.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients with high acuity needs to develop individualized care plans.
- Provide competency evaluations for RNs delivering care to high-acuity clients.
- Lead the implementation of clinical protocols and procedures to maintain high-quality care.
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for the nursing team.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and optimize client outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of training activities, client assessments, and competency evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing home care services.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience with a focus on high-tech skills.
- Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a home care or similar healthcare setting.
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Strong teaching and mentoring abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and other healthcare software systems.
