About the position

The Clinical Services Manager for the Eating Disorder program is responsible for coordinating various disciplines and leading the delivery of clinical services. This role involves managing treatment programs, assessing staff performance, scheduling, and ensuring quality improvement in patient care. The manager will oversee a team of therapists and behavior specialists, ensuring that patients achieve and maintain optimal physical, emotional, and social functions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations including staffing, scheduling, resource allocation, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with property management and external vendors for compliance with lease agreements.
  • Manage budget and monitor financial performance to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Provide clinical oversight and documented supervision of direct care staff to ensure adherence to clinical standards.
  • Develop and provide clinical training to support empirically supported interventions.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Facilitate clinical program delivery in conjunction with medical directors and other department managers.
  • Implement and maintain quality improvement practices to measure and improve patient outcomes.
  • Perform workforce functions including hiring, training, and performance management of staff.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and maintain knowledge of licensure requirements.
  • Advocate for patient care issues and resolve concerns with patients and families.
  • Build and maintain a high-performing team through effective leadership and mentorship.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders including payers and community partners.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social services.
  • Full, independent licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a supervisory or management role is strongly preferred.
  • Clinical experience in mental health or addiction services is required.
