Requirements

  • For Clinical Social Worker P11: Two years of professional experience in a clinical setting, including one year equivalent to a Clinical Social Worker 10.
  • For Clinical Social Worker 12: Three years of professional experience in a clinical setting, including one year equivalent to a Clinical Social Worker P11.
  • State of Michigan Master Social Worker Limited License required.
  • Experience in an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is desirable.

Nice To Haves

  • Certificate in Critical Incident Stress Management: Group Crisis Intervention and Advanced is desirable.
  • Two years of experience in an Employee Assistance Program setting is desirable.
  • Training and experience in providing critical incident stress management services are desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide employee assistance services to MDHHS employees and their families.
  • Facilitate the resolution of work and personal problems affecting job performance.
  • Offer traumatic incident stress management services to employees experiencing workplace incidents.
  • Receive day-to-day guidance from the Employee Services Program.
  • Develop and implement wellness programs and training for employees.
