About the position

The Clinical Specialist role at Sonova is focused on driving sales and providing clinical support for cochlear implant solutions. This position involves creating and executing a strategic business plan to achieve sales targets, managing relationships with cochlear implant centers, and providing on-site clinical support during surgeries and patient fittings. The role requires a blend of sales acumen and clinical expertise to enhance patient access to therapy and ensure the growth of the business in the territory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and deliver strategic territory level business plan to achieve or exceed sales targets/quota.
  • Analyze market to create and execute call plans to maximize maintenance and growth of the territory business.
  • Identify issues affecting sales and develop plans to overcome objections while positioning the company's value proposition.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure maximum coverage within the territory, focusing on proactive sales activities.
  • Work closely with the Regional Manager to manage the territory budget and maximize return on investment.
  • Provide on-site clinical support during surgeries and patient fittings at cochlear implant centers.
  • Train customers on the theory, features, and use of AB systems, incorporating key messages as appropriate.
  • Participate in the AOC program, troubleshooting AB products and documenting reports as required.

Requirements

  • Masters or AuD. degree in Audiology (or related profession).
  • One to three years of clinical audiology experience with both adult and pediatric patients with cochlear implants preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Fluent in English.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology or ABA Certified preferred.
  • Sales experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of electrophysiological testing with implants preferred.
  • Experience fitting and troubleshooting patient's external equipment and software issues preferred.
