About The Position

The Clinical Specialist for Spine Enabling Technologies at Stryker is responsible for providing clinical product support and on-site guidance during surgical procedures. This role involves training surgeons and operating room staff on the use of navigation technologies and associated equipment, ensuring procedural efficiency, and actively selling the clinical benefits of Stryker's products. The position requires collaboration with sales representatives and marketing to enhance communication around product performance and to drive account growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or 6 years equivalent clinical experience.
  • Sales and/or marketing experience preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a clinical setting related to surgical procedures.
  • Familiarity with navigation technologies and surgical instruments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical product support to end users during surgical procedures.
  • Train surgeons and operating room staff on navigation technologies and associated equipment.
  • Use proprietary software to prepare pre-operative scans for surgical procedures.
  • Assist surgeons in preoperative planning and intra-operative guidance.
  • Provide prompt and accurate complaint reports as per quality system requirements.
  • Solve product problems for customers efficiently.
  • Provide case coverage at accounts and support the sales plan execution.
  • Build strong relationships with key surgeons and OR staff.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to improve product communication.
  • Obtain purchase orders for products used during surgeries and track case coverage orders.
  • Participate in cross-divisional labs for product education.
  • Support the conversion of competitive doctors to Stryker products.
