About the position

Mending Matters is seeking a full-time licensed clinical supervisor and program manager to join our dynamic team. This role combines clinical supervision with program management, ensuring both the quality of clinical services and the effective implementation of school-based mental health programs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting and developing clinicians from diverse backgrounds, a commitment to innovative and equitable mental health approaches, and a collaborative spirit eager to listen and learn.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision to unlicensed therapists in school-based settings.
  • Offer supervision and documentation support to licensed staff as needed.
  • Deliver on-call crisis intervention and clinical consultation services to assigned therapists during school hours.
  • Review client treatment approaches to ensure they are culturally responsive and trauma-informed.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to plan and implement staff professional development.
  • Engage with parents and guardians when additional support is requested or indicated.
  • Oversee the implementation and management of school-based mental health programs.
  • Collaborate with school administrators and the clinical team to ensure programs align with school needs and contractual obligations.
  • Lead program monitoring and data tracking efforts to evaluate program impact and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Participate in meetings with school sites, delivering presentations and providing program updates as needed.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires and provide ongoing support through professional development and training.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work.
  • Active registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • At least two years of post-licensed experience.
  • Experience providing individual and group therapy, preferably with youth and families.
  • Experience providing individual and group supervision to graduate student interns or unlicensed Master's level social workers and/or therapists.
  • Experience in program management or leadership roles, particularly in school-based or community mental health settings.
  • Eagerness to advocate for increased access to mental health services for youth and families.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in school-based mental health services.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Pupil Personnel Services Credential.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems for documentation and case management.
