About the position
The Clinical Supervisor in the Substance Use Recovery division at Behavioral Health Network is responsible for overseeing clinical programming and counselor caseloads, ensuring the coordination of services for individuals recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. This role involves direct supervision of staff, monitoring treatment plans, facilitating psycho-educational groups, and adhering to licensing regulations. The position aims to empower individuals in their recovery journey while providing leadership and support to the clinical team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the clinical programming and Counselor caseloads.
- Ensure the coordination of services for individuals served.
- Provide direct supervision to staff.
- Monitor the development and implementation of treatment plans, progress notes, and group notes.
- Coordinate and implement psycho-educational groups and oversee their schedules.
- Facilitate staff and treatment team meetings to improve care provided.
- Schedule monthly on-site trainings for staff.
- Supervise the use of the electronic health record.
- Adhere to licensing regulations and standards by performing assessments and chart reviews.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid LADC I or LADC II license or equivalent.
- Completed a Master's Degree in clinical psychology, education/counseling, medicine, psychology, psychiatric nursing, rehabilitative counseling, social work, or a closely related field.
- At least three years of experience in a substance abuse treatment environment.
- At least one year of supervisory experience providing clinical supervision to an interdisciplinary team.
- Experience working with substance use and dual diagnoses.
- Knowledge of Insurance and Utilization reviews.
- Working knowledge of DPH's Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS) regulations.
- Familiarity with Internet, word processing, and email systems.
