Responsibilities

  • Supervises Counselors and other clinical support staff delivering assessment, substance use disorder education and treatment, and case management to clients.
  • Oversees client program: evaluates counselors’ work performance, audits client records to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance and achievement of service delivery objectives.
  • Serves as a professional resource to other counselors in resolving complex case problems and provides clinical supervision and guidance.
  • Interprets and enforces the organization and facility policies and procedures, contributes to development of treatment protocols and processes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling; Master's degree preferred.
  • Current certification as a CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, CCJP or CCDP through the Missouri Substance Abuse Professional Credentialing Board (MSAPCB) or Licensed Professional Counselor with the state of Missouri required.
  • 3 - 5 years clinical experience in a related field.
  • Completion of the MSAPCB Supervision training or ability to complete within the first 6 months of employment in this position.
  • Working knowledge of substance abuse and co-occurring disorder treatment programs is required.
