About the position

The Clinical/Technical Product Advisor at Evernorth Behavioral Health is responsible for service innovation and product design aimed at enhancing behavioral health programs. This role focuses on executing pilots and program enhancements using evidence-based practices and analytics to improve health outcomes and patient experiences while managing costs. The advisor collaborates with various teams across the organization to develop business and technical requirements, ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of clinical programs.

Responsibilities

  • Design clinical programs focused on health improvement and cost reduction.
  • Lead the launch of pilots and proof of concepts to enhance health outcomes.
  • Research and define advanced clinical techniques related to integrated health trends.
  • Evaluate existing clinical programs and recommend design enhancements.
  • Manage assigned clinical programs and support vendor integration through education and workflow development.
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to understand service utilization and clinical outcomes.
  • Participate in cost savings initiatives and implement processes to support value across programs.
  • Present ideas and recommendations to leadership teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the healthcare field, with a focus on behavioral health or EAP.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Behavioral Health, or Business Operations highly preferred.
  • 2+ years of previous product development or clinical design experience preferred.
  • Strong analytic thinking and ability to generate ideas from industry studies and reports.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at multiple organizational levels.
  • Experience managing complex projects across multiple matrix organizations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Project Management Certification.
  • Experience working within an Agile Environment.
