About the position

The County of Riverside is seeking a Clinical Therapist I/II to join their Mental Health facility at RUHS Medical Center/Arlington Campus. This role involves providing therapeutic services in a psychiatric unit, focusing on mental and behavioral health. The position requires registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences and offers opportunities for professional growth and licensure within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform therapeutic assignments related to mental or behavioral health services and psychiatric social work.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans for consumers or families with mental or emotional disorders.
• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions.
• Perform evaluations and investigations as required by professional licensing laws.
• Provide professional counseling to meet the needs of clients.
• Develop advanced diagnostic and treatment skills through education and supervised clinical experience.

Requirements

• Must be currently registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
• For Clinical Therapist I: Must be an unlicensed entry-level candidate.
• For Clinical Therapist II: Must possess a valid license issued by the California State Board of Behavioral Sciences.
