About the position

The Clinician position is a full-time role based in Bronx, NY, focused on delivering clinical services to clients with mental health needs. The clinician will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance client care and recovery outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical services 100% of the time.
• Provide DSM diagnostic assessments and treatment plans, making appropriate recommendations and referrals.
• Document in accordance with regulatory agencies and policies.
• Implement interventions utilizing Evidence Based Practices.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings focused on client mental health care.
• Facilitate groups using Evidence Based Practices to assist clients in managing their mental health needs.
• Consult and supervise with attending psychiatrist and mental health specialists on treatment recommendations.

Requirements

• Valid LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or LCAT license required.
• 5 years of providing direct clinical services, preferably in a mental health setting addressing co-occurring disorders.
• Knowledge of chemical dependency.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure seamless client flow and timely documentation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to clearly express ideas and concepts verbally.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written communication skills and ability to maintain charts as per policy.
