The Clinician position at Brightside for Families and Children involves providing mobile behavioral health consultations, assessments, and treatment to clients in their homes and communities. The Clinician collaborates with a specialized team to ensure quality service delivery and engages clients in developing strength-based treatment goals.

Responsibilities

  • Completes consults, assessments, and develops treatment plans with strength-based, solution-focused treatment goals.
  • Provides stabilization and supportive services to clients in their home/community.
  • Engages clients in designing treatment goals utilizing a strength-based perspective.
  • Provides written documentation of various teaching strategies to the family.
  • Ensures understanding through role modeling and measurable behavioral management systems.
  • Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.
  • Supports the Brightside team as needed to fulfill client needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in the social work field.
  • At least two (2) years of clinical experience in Social Work or a clinically focused Human Service field.
  • Licensed or license-eligible preferred.
  • Requires analytical ability to assist in designing comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Knowledge of professional literature and resources.
