About the position

The Clinician position at SOS International LLC involves providing essential clinical support to ensure quality services for non-citizen unaccompanied children in temporary care. The role includes oversight of clinical services, training and consultation for clinicians, and collaboration with various stakeholders to meet compliance and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Support oversight of the provision of clinical services throughout the provider network.
  • Provide training, feedback, best practices, and clinical consultation to new or existing clinicians, provider organizations, and/or teams as assigned.
  • Facilitate collaboration between network providers, teams, clinicians, medical staff, and others involved in the delivery of care and treatment.
  • Support network providers and clinical teams with the information and resources necessary to understand and comply with all contractual requirements and licensing regulations.
  • Assist in the collection, review, and presentation of established quality measures and outcomes in accordance with industry best practices and professional standards.
  • Facilitate collaborative working relationships with all clinical staff, multidisciplinary teams, community partners, service providers, management, and staff.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work with clinical experience, or a master's degree in psychology, sociology, or relevant behavioral science with direct clinical experience, or a bachelor's degree plus 5 years of clinical employment experience.
  • Must be CA licensed or eligible for licensure.
  • Knowledgeable of culturally and linguistically appropriate services and clinical issues related to complex trauma and human trafficking.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with children and a variety of behavioral healthcare needs and treatment settings throughout the system of care in California.
  • Knowledge and experience working with the US Department of Health & Human Services, Administration for Children & Families, and the Office of Refugee Resettlement programs.
  • Experience working with migrant and displaced populations.
  • Knowledge of and experience with state licensing and national accreditation standards.
  • Spanish English bilingual is preferred but not required.
