About the position

The Clinician position at TURN focuses on providing comprehensive mental health services to clients, ensuring access to various support systems including medical, educational, and vocational resources. The role emphasizes client-centered care and requires collaboration with other health providers to advocate for clients' best interests.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments, mental health evaluations, and therapy (individual, family, group).
• Develop treatment plans and conduct case consultations.
• Perform crisis intervention and assist with discharge placements.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
• Facilitate client placements, including pre-placement visits and transportation.
• Participate in on-call team and weekend/holiday rotations as needed.
• Deliver field-based services according to program and client needs.
• Maintain confidentiality of client care and participate in program meetings.
• Prepare critical care issues for discussion during supervision and daily meetings.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field and CA BBS registration or license (MFT, LCSW, LPCC) required.
• Valid CA driver's license and current auto insurance required.
• Experience providing mental health and/or substance use disorder services preferred.
• Cultural competency understanding required.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and EHR software preferred.
