About the position

As a Claims Administrative Support Specialist at Progressive, you will play a crucial role in supporting our claims branch offices. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring that essential administrative functions run smoothly while also providing support to our customers and medical providers. This position requires you to interact with clients and healthcare professionals, both over the phone and in person, to facilitate the claims process effectively. You will be responsible for managing various clerical tasks, which may include data entry, filing, and maintaining records, all while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Your organizational skills will be vital in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing your workload to meet deadlines. This is an entry-level position, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their careers in administrative support within the insurance industry. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of administrative or clerical support experience or one year of post-secondary education.
  • Proficiency using office equipment.
  • Proven organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and quickly switch duties.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Customer service and follow-up skills.
