About the position

As a Closing Specialist at Marriott Vacations Worldwide, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the vacation experiences of our Owners and guests. This position involves assisting with property usage inquiries, maintaining customer records, advising the sales team on ownership contracts, and ensuring accurate contract paperwork. You will also be responsible for maximizing revenue through effective sales techniques while providing exceptional guest service in a supportive and friendly work environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer Owner questions regarding the use of properties and location amenities.
• Develop and maintain records on customer contacts for effective follow-up opportunities.
• Advise Sales team on issues related to ownership contracts, including titles and financing.
• Ensure that signed contract paperwork is accurate and complete.
• Respond to Sales team requests related to contract status and follow-up needs.
• Use sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty, including up-selling.
• Welcome and greet guests, anticipating and addressing their needs.
• Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
• Contribute to team goals and follow company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in English and Japanese language skills.
• Notary License required, active and in good standing by the end of the nine-month introductory period.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 10 lbs without assistance.
