About the position

Interclypse is seeking motivated Cloud Administrators at all levels to provide exemplary support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of large Hadoop cloud clusters. Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of large Hadoop cloud clusters.
• Write software scripts using scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, or Python.
• Manage user and group accounts in LDAP and configure DHCP, DNS, and TFTP.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot large scale cloud computing systems.
• Work within a pre-defined mission-focused team structure and follow SOPs.
• Communicate effectively and accept constructive feedback from senior technical resources.
• Educate and train junior technical resources.
• Plan, communicate, lead, and oversee complex technical tasks requiring interaction with multiple groups.
• Utilize configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or SALT.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics is highly desired.
• Hadoop/Cloud System Administrator Certification or comparable Cloud System/Service Certification is required.
• Experience writing software scripts using scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, or Python.
• Fundamental understanding of core components of the Linux operating system.
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting large scale cloud computing systems.
• Ability to work independently on complex tasks and educate junior resources.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or SALT.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience managing and monitoring large Hadoop clusters.
• Advanced knowledge of SSH tunneling and protocols.
• Familiarity with software load balancers for large scale web service implementations.
• Experience with Kubernetes orchestration services and Docker images.
• Experience with log aggregation and search tools including ElasticSearch, Logstash, and Grafana.
