About the position

The Cloud and AI Infrastructure Solutions Engineer will be a key member of the sales team, responsible for driving the adoption of Cisco's Cloud and AI Infrastructure solutions across various industries. This role involves identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to enhance their business operations. A strong background in Data Center Networking and Compute is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Drive the adoption of Cloud and AI Infrastructure solutions across various industries.
• Identify potential clients and understand their specific needs.
• Provide tailored solutions that enhance business operations.
• Facilitate the success of Cisco Field Sales teams in selling Cloud and AI infrastructure solutions.
• Position data center virtualization and systems architecture solutions effectively against competitors.
• Demonstrate solutions and architectures in Cloud and AI infrastructure.
• Build awareness and foster education about the product portfolio with internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams, account teams, executives, and partners/customers.
• Showcase Cloud and AI Infrastructure solutions and promote their tactical and technical capabilities.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Datacenter Networking, Storage, Compute, Big Data, and Converged Infrastructure.
• 2+ years of experience in a pre-sales or customer-facing consulting role.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of networking protocols and technologies.
• Excellent presentation skills for engaging workshops to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Advanced degree is a plus.
• Data Center or Enterprise Networking CCIE certification highly desirable.
• AI experience is a plus.
