Our small agile teams adapt to evolving customer and warfighter needs. In this role, you will implement and manage DevOps infrastructure for a cutting-edge satellite ground system. You will work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment. You will learn modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques, as well as software lifecycle practices for large-scale defense projects. Additionally, you will gain exposure to satellite ground system technologies including command & telemetry, flight dynamics, planning and scheduling, and spacecraft operations.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage DevOps infrastructure for a satellite ground system.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.
• Adapt to evolving customer and warfighter needs.

Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• 5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Experience building and managing large-scale Kubernetes clusters in a production environment.
• Experience integrating containerized applications with cloud infrastructure (e.g. ELB, RDS, S3, EFS/EBS).
• Experience with Linux and Git administration.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Expert-level Kubernetes debugging skills.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Docker Certified Associate (DCA).
• Experience programming with Java and Groovy.
• Experience with Test Automation, DevSecOps, and CI/CD processes.
• Experience working with a large-scale legacy software system.
• Experience with tools such as Confluence, Eclipse, Jira, Jenkins, Junit, Kafka, and Spring Boot.
