Aptiv is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Data Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will design and implement cloud network architectures and solutions specifically for automotive applications, ensuring that these solutions are scalable, reliable, and perform optimally. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical skills and a deep understanding of cloud computing and data architecture. The Cloud Data Architect will play a crucial role in shaping the cloud infrastructure that supports our innovative automotive technologies. In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define network requirements, design cloud infrastructure, and establish connectivity between cloud environments and on-premises systems. You will manage cloud-based release processes and pipelines, which include deployment automation, version control, and configuration management. Coordination with development teams is essential to ensure smooth and timely releases of software updates and enhancements to cloud environments. Utilizing tools and platforms such as Azure DevOps, AWS DevOps, and GCP DevOps, you will implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for cloud-based applications. Your responsibilities will also include configuring and automating build, test, and deployment workflows to streamline software delivery while ensuring code quality and security. You will define and manage cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform, ARM templates, and Cloud Formation scripts, enabling infrastructure provisioning and configuration automation. Monitoring cloud infrastructure, applications, and services for performance, availability, and security incidents will be a key part of your role. You will proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure system reliability and uptime. Additionally, you will manage and maintain relational databases, configuration management, and server administration tasks using MySQL, Ansible, and Linux operating systems, ensuring high availability, data integrity, and security of cloud-based MySQL deployments.
