About the position

The Cloud and Database Developer position at the University of Arizona Global Campus involves designing, developing, and managing Microsoft Azure cloud solutions, secure web-based database systems, and applications. Responsibilities

• Design and develop Microsoft Azure cloud solutions in both IaaS and PaaS.
• Manage secure web-based database systems and desktop/web/cloud applications.
• Generate database reports in various formats using Microsoft Power BI.
• Extract data from third-party systems and integrate it with existing data systems.
• Develop applications using Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SSIS for data integration and transformation.
• Design and implement backup and disaster-recovery protocols.
• Provide technical support to internal and external users, including server maintenance and backup.
• Create documentation such as user manuals and system design specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 to less than 7 years of experience in Information Technology or a related field.
• Documented experience in designing, developing, and managing Microsoft Azure cloud solutions in both IaaS and PaaS.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server database systems.
• Experience working with Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience developing applications using ASP, .NET, C# for database systems.
• Experience building data warehouses using Microsoft SQL Server.
