As a Product Director in Engineer's Platform & Integrated Experience (EPiX) team, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. As a leader on the team, you leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs. In this role, you will oversee the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets. You will lead the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth. You will coach and mentor the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives. You will own product performance and be accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives. Monitoring market trends, conducting competitive analysis, and identifying opportunities for product differentiation will be key aspects of your role. You will focus on creating an exceptional developer experience by understanding the needs and pain points of developers, continuously improving the platform's usability, documentation, and support resources. Fostering a developer community and engaging with developers to gather feedback, address concerns, and drive adoption will also be part of your responsibilities. You will define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of the platform, using data and analytics to gain insights into user behavior, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize the platform's performance and user satisfaction. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including User Experience (UX), Architecture & Engineering, will be essential to gather requirements, understand customer needs, and ensure successful execution of the platform. Leveraging your expertise in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, will be crucial to provide seamless integration and enhance the developer experience.
