The Cloud (AWS) Data Architect position at Randstad US is a contract role based in Torrance, California, requiring an onsite presence. The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical aptitude for multitier and cross-platform architectures across the enterprise. This role demands an in-depth knowledge of design requirements and an advanced ability to define systems and integration models. The successful candidate will act as a technical expert, addressing problems related to systems integration compatibility and multiple platform integration. The position requires an advanced understanding of the information technology landscape, which includes infrastructure, network, client-server models, and emerging technology standards and trends. The candidate should have a strong background in software engineering, software development, solution architecture, and the implementation of medium to large-scale systems across multiple platforms. With a minimum of 15 years of experience in designing or configuring systems and/or applications, the candidate should also have at least 6 years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise strategy, and digital subject matter expertise. The role is suited for a versatile Solution Architect with proven experience in achieving stretch goals in a fast-paced environment and designing innovative solutions that are scalable, secure, and reliable for millions of users. The candidate should have experience in enterprise or solution architecture with a focus on large enterprise-scale initiatives, as well as a deep background in hybrid cloud architectures, computing platforms, cloud virtualization, and middleware platforms. Proven experience in designing and deploying digital solutions that handle high volume, high velocity, and omni-channel user experiences is essential. Knowledge of data security, privacy, and obfuscation in relation to distributed cloud architecture is also required. Excellent communication and relationship skills are crucial, particularly the ability to articulate advanced technical topics to both technical and non-technical staff. The candidate must be a team player, capable of working effectively within a large organization that operates using a matrix structure. The ability to make architecture changes in a dynamic agile environment, multitask, and prioritize work according to needs is essential. Expertise in acquiring and harnessing cutting-edge technologies to meet dynamic business needs is also a key requirement.
