About the position
The Cloud Consultant role at Amazon Web Services (AWS) involves assisting U.S. Intelligence Community agencies in implementing innovative cloud computing solutions. The position requires strong technical skills, consultative abilities, and a passion for educating and training clients on cloud technologies. The consultant will work closely with AWS teams to deliver tailored solutions and drive feature innovation based on customer needs, while maintaining a fun and dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist U.S. Intelligence Community agencies in implementing cloud computing solutions.
- Educate and train clients on application architectures and integration approaches.
- Collaborate with AWS teams to deliver tailored solutions and drive feature innovation.
- Participate in deep-dive education and design exercises to create innovative solutions on AWS.
- Maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
Requirements
- 3+ years of design/implementation/consulting experience with distributed applications or equivalent education experience.
- 1+ years of experience with software development tools and methodologies.
- Technical degree or equivalent experience.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Nice-to-haves
- 5+ years of IT implementation experience.
- Experience in cloud computing technologies design and implementation.
- Experience leading the design, development, and deployment of business software at scale.
- 5+ years experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
- Experience in technology/software sales consulting.
- Professional experience architecting/deploying/operating solutions built on AWS.
- Experience migrating or transforming Legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Understanding of Federal Government application, server, and network security requirements such as ICD 503, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
