About the position

The Cloud Data Center Network Engineer (AWS) role involves managing and optimizing network infrastructure within a cloud data center environment, specifically utilizing AWS technologies. The position requires expertise in various networking protocols and AWS services to ensure efficient and secure data flow. The engineer will work in a shift-based schedule, contributing to the overall performance and reliability of cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Cisco Virtual Routers and routing protocols including BGP, SRMPLS, MP-BGP, and ISIS.
• Configure and maintain GRE Tunnels and ENI Interfaces for secure data transmission.
• Implement and manage AWS instances and cloud security measures.
• Utilize Direct Connect (DX) Gateway for reliable network connectivity.
• Manage route tables, TGW, and LocalGW configurations.
• Set up and manage Network ACLs for security and access control.
• Oversee VPC and EC2 configurations to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor network performance using CloudWatch.

Requirements

• Proficient in Cisco Virtual Routers and routing protocols (BGP, SRMPLS, MP-BGP, ISIS).
• Experience with GRE Tunnels and ENI Interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, particularly in cloud security and networking.
• Familiarity with Direct Connect (DX) Gateway and route table management.
• Experience with TGW and LocalGW configurations.
• Understanding of Network ACLs and their implementation.
• Proficient in VPC and EC2 management.
• Experience with CloudWatch for monitoring network performance.
