About the position

The position involves working with U.S. Intelligence Community agencies to implement innovative cloud computing solutions and address technical challenges. The role requires strong consultative and leadership skills to guide projects towards success while ensuring adherence to security best practices. The consultant will engage in various projects, leveraging AWS technologies to educate and build cloud solutions for diverse clients, all while maintaining a focus on customer success.

Responsibilities

• Help Intelligence Community agencies implement cloud computing solutions.
• Educate and train clients on application architectures and integration approaches.
• Design and build cloud solutions tailored to client needs.
• Manage projects to ensure they are on a successful trajectory.
• Maintain knowledge of security best practices for applications, servers, and networks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of design/implementation/consulting experience with distributed applications or equivalent education experience.
• 1+ years of experience with software development tools and methodologies.
• 3+ years of experience working with Python.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
• Experience in technology/software sales consulting or equivalent skills.
• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Experience managing highly available data center operations with responsibility for infrastructure robustness.

Nice-to-haves

• Understanding of Federal Government application, server, and network security requirements such as ICD 503, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
