About the position

We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Database Administrator with extensive experience in managing Postgres, MySQL, and Cassandra databases in cloud environments. This role focuses on ensuring optimal performance, high availability, and effective disaster recovery strategies for our database systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage Postgres, MySQL, and Cassandra databases across cloud environments.
• Perform performance tuning at the application, database, and system levels for optimal production system efficiency.
• Design and implement Disaster Recovery solutions to meet defined business objectives.
• Configure and support high availability features, including clustering and replication, to ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to enhance database design and functionality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Postgres/MySQL/Cassandra Database Administrator.
• Strong expertise in performance tuning and optimization for large-scale production systems.
• Hands-on experience with clustering, replication, and other high-availability configurations.
• Proven track record of implementing Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
