About the position

The Cloud Database Architect/Solutions Architect role at Intone Networks involves designing and architecting cloud-based database systems to ensure scalability, high availability, and optimal performance. Responsibilities

• Design and architect cloud-based database systems for scalability and high availability.
• Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational SQL/NoSQL data stores.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and deliver integrated cloud solutions.
• Develop and execute AWS cloud database strategies including data storage and disaster recovery.
• Optimize database performance through query tuning and schema optimization.
• Leverage Python scripting for automating infrastructure deployments and monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with security and data protection regulations.
• Utilize monitoring tools like Grafana and Splunk for reporting.
• Work with development teams to integrate cloud database solutions with applications.
• Establish and maintain architectural standards and documentation.

Requirements

• 8-12 years of professional experience in database engineering and architecture.
• Deep understanding of database design principles and data modeling.
• Extensive experience in AWS Cloud services management and architecture.
• Ability to develop end-to-end cloud data strategies as a solutions architect.
• Expertise in architecting scalable and high-performing database systems.
• Intermediate proficiency in Python for automation tasks.
