About the position

The Cloud Database Architect will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing data exploitation workflows within the Intelligence Community's Commercial Cloud Services. This role requires a deep understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, as well as cloud storage solutions, to support the mission of enhancing data management and IT infrastructure for national defense.

Responsibilities

• Understanding the capabilities of relational databases, NoSQL databases, and cloud storage solutions
• Well versed in cloud strategies for data warehouse implementation, data acquisition, data tagging, and archival
• Designing, deploying, maintaining, and optimizing relational database solutions with PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server
• Designing, deploying, maintaining, and optimizing NoSQL solutions with MongoDB
• Designing, deploying, maintaining, and optimizing cloud data storage solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 4 years of experience
• Security+ or equivalent certification

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
• AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty
