About the position

The position involves overseeing Xactly's transition to a Multi Cloud infrastructure, focusing on designing and architecting cloud-based databases that align with business strategies. The role requires developing strategies for data migration and optimizing cloud spending while ensuring best practices for cloud adoption are established and enforced.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Xactly's transition to Multi Cloud infrastructure.
• Design and architect cloud-based databases to meet business needs.
• Develop and implement strategies for data migration, including data transfer, transformation, and synchronization.
• Focus on cost-effective resource allocation and cloud database usage.
• Monitor and optimize cloud spending related to database services.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure and evaluate cloud applications and hardware.
• Prepare detailed reports on cloud performance for management.
• Establish and enforce best practices for cloud adoption.
• Collaborate with various departments to address cloud privacy and resolve technical issues.
• Train technical teams on cloud database best practices.
• Guide leadership on cloud security, scalability, and cost optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 5 years of progressive experience designing, executing, and supporting cloud deployments as a Database Architect or related occupation.
• Experience managing and tuning complex customer-facing applications.
• Experience developing, deploying, maintaining, and scaling relational and non-relational databases and underlying infrastructure.
• Experience using platform and product deployment and automation tools, including Terraform, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Certification as an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional.
