About the position

As a Cloud Database Engineer III, you will be responsible for the setup and ongoing health of relational and non-relational databases within the company. This role is critical as we continue to modernize our systems, and it requires a passion for cloud database engineering with a focus on growth and improvement. You will be working with advanced systems infrastructure, including both Windows and Linux servers, and will be expected to have extensive experience with various database technologies such as MSSQL, Oracle, and MySQL. Your responsibilities will include installing and maintaining database software, testing upgrades and patches, and building database schemas, tables, procedures, and permissions. You will also be tasked with designing and documenting database architecture, developing database utilities, and automated reporting. Analyzing and sustaining capacity and performance requirements will be a key part of your role, ensuring that our databases operate efficiently and effectively. We value onsite collaboration, and this position requires you to work at our headquarters in Monroe, WI. Responsibilities

  • Installing and maintaining database software

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Computer Science or related IT field
  • 5+ years' experience in technology and software implementation/design
  • 5+ years' experience in database administration and architecture within an open systems infrastructure
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, MySQL, Oracle, etc.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux servers
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
